Full sun. Plant in areas with good air circulation.
Any good, well-drained garden soil.
How much: Apply enough water to wet the soil 1½ to 2 feet deep. To determine the proper amount of water for your soil type, see How Much Water to Apply.
How often: Roses need plenty of water. Water when the soil is moist but not wet 4 inches deep. For more information about watering, see About Watering.
Remove dead or unhealthy wood. Remove branches that cross through the center of the plant. Prune off at least a third to half of last year's growth. For more information about pruning and care of roses, see ORTHO's book All About Roses.
